A newly produced One Piece anime series is set to be released in February 2027.
New details have been announced alongside concept art for the upcoming ‘One Piece’ series, which will re-adapt the story starting from the first episode of the East Blue arc. The new series is being produced by WIT Studio, known for the Attack on Titan series, and will be released on Netflix in February 2027.
The first season will cover the story of the first 50 chapters of the original manga across seven episodes. It will follow the narrative up to the meeting between Luffy and Sanji, with a total runtime of approximately 300 minutes.
The revealed concept art depicts young Luffy, Shanks, Makino, and members of the Red Hair Pirates at a tavern in Foosha Village. It also features the logo for the new One Piece series along with the phrase, ‘The adventure begins here.’
